After leaving Dirby’s tent, you meet an exotic dog belly dancer. He speaks to you:

“I see you have satisfied the quest of Strength. But you know, Strength does not matter if you do not have mobility. Let me teach you the ways of Dance.”

“Today you will be challenged with the Dance of Furtune. Pass, and you shall move on in your quest. Fail, and you shall fall to the ground… quite literally.”

Now, a few reminders about dance etiquette:

First, Find the dance circle. I've provided a sketch of this below, but you should be able to find it elsewhere in Le Cirque du Darcana. Remember - you must always face the audience. Remember the audience is always in the direction of the Crossed Bones (X on the inner ring), and you should face the audience no matter where you are dancing. (If mobility is an issue or it is raining outside, then you may instead use the contents of a burlap sack next to the box with a paw print on it.)

Second, Moving forward always means moving clockwise, staying in the same ring.

Third, Moving backward always means moving counterclockwise, staying in the same ring.

Fourth, Moving outward/inward means moving to the other ring.

Let us begin:

1. Start standing on the paw in the center.

2. Place your left foot on the crossed bones in the inner ring, and right foot on the heart in the outer ring.

3. Place your left hand where your left foot is.

4. Move your left foot backward 3 steps.

5. Place your right hand where your left hand is.

6. Move your right foot backward 2 steps.

7. Move your right hand outward to the closest outer ring cell.

8. Swap your left foot and left hand.

9. Move your right foot and left hand toward the direction you are facing one step, while staying in the same ring.

10. Move your left foot to the furthest cell in the outer ring from where it is, and then move the left foot forward 3 steps.

11. Step your right foot forward by 1 step.

12. Step your left hand backward 1 step.

13. And lift the hand you are facing toward the air.

14. Look at the symbols under your left foot, right foot, and remaining hand. Find the ancient Darune tablet that will interpret the symbols into a code for you. Since the ancient tablet is old, it may have an extra crack here and there...
